How we check our answer keys हम उत्तर कुंजी कैसे जाँचते हैं
Two people work out every answer on their own. An answer is marked verified only when both agree; until then it is marked provisional. On the day UPSSSC publishes its official answer key, we compare every answer with it, and each shift page lists every correction with its date.
हर उत्तर को दो लोग अलग-अलग हल करते हैं। दोनों के सहमत होने पर ही उत्तर सत्यापित होता है। आयोग की आधिकारिक कुंजी आने के दिन हम हर उत्तर का मिलान करेंगे, और हर सुधार तारीख़ के साथ लिखा जाएगा।
When does the official key come? आधिकारिक उत्तर कुंजी कब आएगी?
UPSSSC has not announced a date for the 2026 key. In PET 2025 the exam was on 6 and 7 September 2025, the provisional key came on 9 September 2025 and the revised key about 18 November 2025. So the provisional key usually comes within a week of the last shift, which this year is on 1 November 2026. Watch upsssc.gov.in for the notice.

When will the UPSSSC PET 2026 answer key be out?
Our provisional key for each shift goes up within 60 minutes after that shift ends; the two 25 October keys are being added now. The official UPSSSC provisional key has no date yet; going by PET 2025, expect it within about a week of 1 November 2026.
हर पाली की हमारी अनंतिम कुंजी पाली समाप्त होने के 60 मिनट के अंदर आएगी; 25 अक्टूबर की दोनों कुंजियाँ अभी जोड़ी जा रही हैं।
How is the PET score calculated?
Score = correct answers × 1 − wrong answers × 0.25. Unattempted questions get 0. Example: 80 correct, 12 wrong and 8 left gives 80 − 3 = 77. The final score is then normalised across shifts.

How do I challenge the official answer key?
In PET 2025, UPSSSC took objections online for about a week after the provisional key, with a fee of ₹100 per question (as reported by news sites). We will add the 2026 steps when UPSSSC announces them.

Is there normalisation across shifts?
Yes. The official PET 2026 advertisement says scores are normalised when the exam runs in more than one shift or day, using the method in the UPSSSC notice dated 22 May 2019.
